Aric was born in Ann Arbor, MI and started his journey into yoga around 2005 seeking and exploring different styles. Yoga and meditation transformed his life so much that he decided to become a teacher and completed 200-hour YTT in 2013. He has been teaching meditation locally and outside of Ann Arbor at different festivals since 2013. Yoga and meditation has helped him with engineering and finding that creative connection leading to more than 33 patents and being healed of physical ailments such as asthma, allergies, and vision (stopped wearing glasses). With each yoga and meditation class, he would often have a realization that would apply to some aspect of life off the mat in addition to the bliss, joy, peace, strength, flexibility, and friendship built with yoga and the community.
In addition to 200-hour yoga teacher training and a deepened meditation training and practice since 2008 Aric also has engineering degrees as well as expanded training in environmental engineering and human factors. He opened Red Yoga in 2015 with his business partner Kelli Harrington. The studio is very uniquely designed in that integrates several modalities and cellular rejuvenation therapy for a holistic approach to yoga and much more.
He (Aric) enjoys going to yoga and music festivals like Wanderlust, rock climbing, running, playing guitar, surfing, hiking, camping, stargazing, and constantly going deeper into his personal practice and transformation.
