As of today, 8/11/18 within an 11 universal year, there are six out of eight (or arguably nine) planets in retrograde (Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto). Also today, a Super NewMoon Solar Eclipse occurred at approximately 6am EST in the sign of Leo, manifesting courageous energy that encourages us to step out into our light. With that being said, this is where Words of Truth begins…

“Don’t practice until you get it right. Practice until you can’t get it wrong.” – unknown

I was instructed to set an intention during yoga practice today. My intention was to give everything that I had to give in order to reach my goals in life. Accordingly, my practice followed this intention. My flow resembled my path in life, arduous yet fulfilling. My sweat resembled my gratification as my body offered multitudes of appreciation throughout each transition. I discovered that some transitions were a bit more difficult than others, however I kept reminding myself that it would get better. Maybe not so much at that very moment, but with time, patience and awareness which was embodied by each breath that I took. I remained (and still remain) optimistic of gradual improvements within my practice because, ultimately, if I want to become greater at something, it takes practice.

This concept may be applied to any circumstance whether its learning a new language, starting a new hobby, or even changing up the direction and pace of your life in order to fulfill your highest and greatest good. The common denominator here is that we can all achieve greatness in anything that we do just as long as we practice.
